Less than a Second
An exhibition curated by Signal Noise
Info
We are living in times of unprecedented scientific achievement in which an unimaginable number of events can be viewed, analysed and acted on in less than a second. Cameras now exist that can capture the movement of light in slow motion, thousands of stocks are traded across the Atlantic in milliseconds and the Large Hadron Collider can capture sub-atomic activity happening at incredible speeds.
This October, London based information design agency, Signal Noise is curating an exhibition to showcase the best of information and data design.
We are commissioning a series of print-based data visualisations that explore the theme of “less than one second”.
The selected works will explore how technology is enabling a vast number of data points and events to be read and understood across a variety of fields - from automated trades to F1 analytics.
For the duration of the exhibition only, prints displayed will be available for sale.
